Roof Replacement of The Old Courthouse at Gateway Arch National Park

The Tradesmen Group LLC (TTG) was selected by the National Park Service to undertake the comprehensive roof replacement of the historic Old Courthouse at Gateway Arch National Park.

Removal of existing standing seam copper roof and structural deck
Installation of new structural decking
Application of new copper standing seam roof system

Gutter System Renovation

Formation of new lightweight concrete gutters
Lining of gutters with new 32 oz soldered seam copper
Installation of new primary and secondary drains throughout the built-in gutter system

Additional Exterior Work

Installation of new copper roof hatches
Replacement of several large limestone cornice stones with new matching limestone

Interior Structural Work

Structural steel repairs
Masonry repairs to interior load-bearing walls in the attic at the porticos

Safety and Accessibility Improvements

Installation of a new catwalk system in attic spaces
Addition of new lighting in attic spaces
Implementation of a fall protection system on the roof
