Key aspects of TTG’s role included:
- Execution of diverse conservation techniques for different materials (granite, bronze, marble)
- Collaboration with conservator Debora Rodriguez for specialized guidance
- Adaptation of restoration approaches to suit each memorial’s unique needs
- Integration of preventative measures (e.g., skateboard deterrents) to protect the restored memorials
This project underscores TTG’s commitment to preserving America’s national monuments, combining skilled craftsmanship with a deep respect for historical integrity. Our successful completion of this project further solidifies our standing as a trusted partner for the National Park Service in preserving our nation’s capital’s historic landmarks.
