'It’s part of the identity of the city': Percy Warner Park to unveil newly restored steps

The iconic stairs at Percy Warner Park are ready to be enjoyed by Nashvillians for the next 100 years, according to the group behind their repair and restoration.

“You know there’s an expression, ‘Don’t sweat the details.’ This project has been the exception to the rule,” Bob Parrish, who oversees resource management for Friends of Warner Parks and serves as its historian, said. “The details have received careful scrutiny. Nothing has been overlooked.”
